Where do you Guide?
Located in Beaver Utah, we do trips in the rivers and lakes all over Southwest Utah. We cater to those visiting Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, as well as people specifically coming to Utah for a fishing trip. The exact location to be fished for any specific trip is dependent on many factors as we try to accommodate each individual’s needs and expectations. Contact us for more information!
Do I need to provide my own Gear?
All gear including waders, boots, and rods are included as part of your guided trip. If you do want to bring your own gear you are welcome to do so. You will need to provide your own weather-appropriate clothing; hats, sunglasses, rain gear, etc.
Are Flies included in a guide trip?
Your guide will have flies on hand and will keep track of whatever flies you use or lose and we will take care of the difference at the end of the trip!
Do I need a fishing license?
All participants 12 years and older who plan to fish will need a valid Utah fishing license. Licenses can be obtained at https://wildlife.utah.gov/licenses/licenses-permits.html
Absolutely!! We love teaching beginners of any age the art and sport of fly fishing.
I’m a beginner, is that ok?
That depends, Although there are other species of fish around, we mainly fish for trout species; Rainbow, Brown, Tiger, Brook, and Cutthroat. What species is caught is largely due to the fishing location. If there is a specific species you would like to catch give us a call and we can work to get you to the right location where you will have the greatest chance of catching the specific fish you want.
What species of fish will I catch?
Although our guides work extremely hard to get everyone into fish, catching fish is never guaranteed. The number and size of fish landed depends largely on conditions and the angler's ability.
How many fish will I catch?
We do occasionally allow a person to tag along on the fly fishing guide with their fishing family members. If this interests you, give us a call to discuss this option.
